LG was Established in 1947, Lucky Chemical Industrial Company, first it was started with chemical company in Korea. Then LG company was a tie up with Koo and Heo families, who have had business dealings with each other for many generations. The group had expanded into the home appliance industry in 1958 under guidence of name Goldstar Electronics Company, now we are calling as LG Electronics if was formed the first electronics company. From then, it was known as Lucky-Goldstar. These is the main History of LG company.
LG Group which producing electronics as well as mobile phones. The name LG is an abbreviation of Lucky Goldstar, the company's former name. Before these companay name was GoldStar. At that time it self they sold many products, while some other household products (not available outside Korea) were sold under the brand name of Lucky. LG now stands for "Life's Good" in the market. The Goldstar brand is still available but is a lower quality brand than the "LG" brand. LG is now one of the leading producers of electronics and The best performance of LG is design and quality.
LG corporation was always highlighted the amicable partnership between the Koo and Heo families in several ways.
First, they maintained the corporation name as Lucky-Goldstar to signify the different parts of their corporations.
Second, they had their corporate headquarters in Seoul that would be known as "Twin Towers," featuring identical 34-story buildings.
Third, when they took over a Korean baseball team in late 1989, they renamed the team as the "LG Twins".
Later LG was made a joint venture and created LG-Nortel Network. Since 2001, LG has two joint ventures with Royal Philips Electronics: they are LG Philips Display and LG Philips LCD.
LG was used to manufacters optical data storage solutions like DVD-ROM drives, CD writers, etc. These products has a greate demand in the market since 1989 LG has owned the LG Twins baseball club.
